Smart Heating can provide a full heating system design, installation and commission on your new heating system or even an audit and report on your existing one.

 

As approved service agents on certain brands, if you book an annual service with us on either your heat pump or solar thermal system this will maintain your warranty.

SEAI – Sustainable Energy Authority Ireland

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland was established as Ireland's national energy authority under the Sustainable Energy Act 2002. SEAI's mission is to play a leading role in transforming Ireland into a society based on sustainable energy structures, technologies and practices. 

RGII – Registered Gas Installers Ireland

Since 2006, the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) has worked with the gas industry to put in place a new regulatory system to supervise the work of gas installers with respect to safety. This new statutory-based regulatory system has replaced the previous voluntary register operated by Bord Gaìs.

 

The CER has appointed The Register of Gas Installers of Ireland (R.G.I.I.) as The Gas Safety Supervisory Body (GSSB).

OFTEC – Oil Fired Technical Association

OFTEC establishes the standards for competence within the domestic oil heating and cooking industry. By ensuring the quality of people and businesses working in this area, OFTEC maintains standards for reputable companies and consumers alike. 

The association also helps to shape the future of the oil-fired equipment industry within the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Europe.

HETAS – Solid Fuel Installations

HETAS is the official body recognised by Government to approve biomass and solid fuel heating appliances, fuels and services, including the registration of competent installers and servicing businesses.

F-GAS - Refrigeration Compliance

The legal requirement for all businesses that install, maintain or service Air conditioning and Heat Pump equipment is to hold an F-Gas Company Certificate.

CIPHE – Chartered Institute Plumbing and Heating Engineering

The CIPHE is made up of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds such as consultants, specifiers, designers, public health engineers, lecturers, trainers, trainees and practitioners It has a membership of around 7,200 including approximately 170 manufacturers and distributors, which support its work.

CEng – UK Engineering Council

As the regulatory body for the UK engineering profession, the Engineering Council sets and maintains internationally recognised standards of professional competence and commitment.

 

These are detailed in the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC) and the Information and Communications Technology Technician (ICTTech) Standard.
